Spring '12 in Yangshuo, China

This Spring I was in Yangshuo, which is in southwestern China.  I was a volunteer teacher at The Oral English College.  My goal for this trip was to be in a beautiful area of China and stay long enough to get to know Chinese people.

I scored on both counts.  The area around Yangshuo is in fact one of the most uniquely beautiful places in China.  In just a few minutes from my room I could be walking among the karst mountains.  But getting to know the students of the school was even more wonderful.  I've posted a video pix show of these experiences on YouTube.

Have a look!  Click here.
